It seems that Xiaomi fans are really loving this Mi 5X model we talked about during the past couple of days, and this shows. There are more than a 140000 registrations now for the Xiaomi Mi 5X in the official online store of the company in almost half a day, and the number keeps rising!
Remember: the device hasn't been officially unveiled nor anyone else has revealed its official technical specs, but still people are loving it. OK, we have to mention that by registering this early means you can win a smartwatch or the Mi 5X itself if you're lucky enough, so that may have had a lot to do with the large number of interested people.
We talked earlier about this upcoming mid-range phone that is scheduled to be unveiled on July 26, along with the brand new MIUI 9 interface. In case you missed it, the Mi 5X might come with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen and it could be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset, offering 4GB of RAM. Prices could start at CNY 1,999 (that's $295 or €255).
