Chinese phone maker - Honor - appears to want speed up things with their smartphone releases; probably due to the high competitiveness of the smartphone market in the first part the year. That means that despite the fact that Honor's 20 series launched in June last year, the new Honor 30 series might actually be released earlier, in April of 2020.
Honor's 30 Series Coming in April, According to Huawei Leakster
Now, we do know much about the upcoming series, as there are no point of reference - the Honor V30 series is an entirely different series and will be released as "Honor View 30" outside of China. That said, it's quite certain that Honor will pack their next flagships with the home-made Huawei Kirin 990 5G chipset. If you didn't know, Huawei's CPU is actually one of the best regarded SoC as far as 5G connectivity is concerned and it actually won the best "5G CPU Award" at the last China Mobile Conference.
Honor's handsets will then most likely feature high pixel count cameras. With that we mean either a 64MP from Samsung - the ISOCELL Bright GW1 - or the 64MP option from Sony, the Sony IMX686. Alternatively, Honor could go all-in with the trendy Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX boasting a resolution of 108MP.
As many other flagships, the Honor 30 series should also bring a high refresh rate display of at least 90Hz, an under display fingerprint scanner and Chinese media even suggest we might find support for wireless charging.
