Between the arrival of OPPO Reno and the new Huawei P30 Pro, a new trend could make its way onto smartphones. I'm talking about the periscope zoom, which is a mechanism that allows you to get a very impressive image magnification.
It is enough to see the reaction of the Facebook audience to this video, which has become viral within a few hours, which demonstrates the potential of the 50X zoom of the Huawei flagship. But the doubt that it may be a fake is just around the corner.
There is one thing to specify, though: in spite of what is apparently shown, with Huawei P30 Pro the videos do not go beyond a 10X zoom. This means that either this video was made by recording the phone screen in camera mode or we are facing a fake video. This last hypothesis would be corroborated by the high fluidity of the zoom, also because the switch between the various lenses of the P30 Pro triple module does not seem to be noticed.
If instead, the video was authentic, the result leaves you speechless and opens up to new photographic scenarios, for better or for worse. Given these abilities, we do not exclude that some users may abuse and commit illegal acts.
