The Weimei We Plus isn't a tongue-twister, but a good-looking phone

You may not have heard of Weimei before, but the Spanish brand has been covered on GizChina before.

Weimei are in the news yet again for their new Weimei We Plus smartphone, which is an 8-core phone with a sleek and stylish body.

It's a phone that doesn't have the most unique design (downside of the number of phones launching these days is that they all look alike), but yet manages to be pretty with its metal body and 6.9mm thickness.

Inside, the Weimei We Plus has a 64-bit octa-core processor of unknown make (presumably the MediaTek MT6753), 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 720p display and a 3150mAh battery, which Weimei stress upon.

There's also a USB Type-C port on the phone's chin.

Cameras on the phone are a 13 mega-pixel rear (with PDAF) and 5 mega-pixel front. While all of this makes for a pretty phone with decent specs, it's the pricing that might hold you back from getting one right away.

The We Plus is priced at 289 Euros ($325), which certainly doesn't make it the most powerful phone in its price range.
