Steve Jobs has sadly passed earlier today. The 56 year old co-founder of Apple had been battling with pancreatic cancer for some years and has left behind a loving family, devoted fans and a footprint so large in the technological world that they may never be filled.
Apple have set up a memorial web page and email for those of us who wish to send our condolences to the Jobs family.
"
Steve Jobs
1955-2011
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.
Those of use who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend
and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he coul have built,
and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."
