Sina's Weibo is hitting again for reaching numbers! The spectacular hurdle the popular micro platform has reached now is managing to attract a breaking 250 million registered users!
According to Sina's official report Weibo officially reached over 250 million users sometime in October and now registers more than 90 million daily posts a day!
The demographic of Chinese using Weibo, the Twitter-like platform, are mainly 19-30 year olds (76%), with more than half of users (%58) being male, and %67 holding at least diploma.
Rumor are now circulating that Sina will restructure and Sina Weibo will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sina Corp.
