Last month, Google officially announced its latest Android 10 software with improved features for its Pixel devices. Sooner, various smartphone makers such as OnePlus joined the suit offering an early taste of the new software. Surprisingly, Samsung is now among those brands which managed to deliver the latest Android update in a relatively less time period. Well, the South Korean giant is known for delivering slower software updates, generally taking a couple of months. It seems like the smartphone maker wants to fix that bad reputation this year.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Gets Android 10 Based One UI 2 Beta
Back to the changelog, the Android 10 One UI 2.0 update brings the following new and improved features:
- Full-screen gestures
- Enhanced one-handed mode
- New Media & Devices
- Enhanced Biometrics
- New Battery usage graph
- Improved Digital Wellbeing
- Enhanced Samsung Internet, Contacts, Calendar, Reminder, My Files, Calculator
- Android Auto is now preloaded
- Removed Android Beam
Sadly, there is no word on the region where this new Android update is rolling out. Since one of the version numbers contains OXM which is a European multi-CSC suggesting that the update has started hitting the European market. Furthermore, the version number also contains Z which suggests that this is indeed a beta update. Looking at the previous trend, we're speculating Germany as the region since the country has always been the first one to receive Android updates in Europe.
