Today, we have new details regarding the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Its nomenclature is still unclear, so for now, we will call it as Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. About a month ago, we told you about this device following information that had been obtained exclusively by Max Winebach, a member of XDA Developers that in recent months has leaked a lot of information about Samsung phones, with a high success rate.
Now, he has again shared data on what would be the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, which is probably part of the Samsung Galaxy Z family. He has offered us more details of interest about Samsung's third folding smartphone and the truth is that it looks good. If you want to know what this phone will look like, keep reading below.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will also have a camera under the screen
He has also talked about the internal front camera of this phone, which will be on its 7.7-inch screen and we will see it either under the screen or in a hole in it, such as the Galaxy S20. It is the second time we hear about the camera under the screen for this model, a rumor that is gradually gaining strength. On the main cameras, we will find the same configuration as in the Samsung Galaxy S20+, that is, the following cameras:
- Main 12-megapixel with a pixel size of 1.8 microns at f/1.8 OIS
- 64-megapixel telephoto at 3x zoom and 8K recording at f/2.0 with OIS
- Wide-angle of 12-megapixels f/2.2
In addition to this, it reconfirms the presence of an S-Pen, although it classifies it as a new form. So you should not expect it to be like the Galaxy Note 10 pen, for example. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will be made of ceramic and stainless steel, two materials more premium than traditional glass and aluminum.
