Reno 2Z live image leaked, to feature pop-up camera

The OPPO Reno 2 series isn't very far off. Yet the relentless leaks continue to trickle down the rumour mill along with official teasers from OPPO. New exclusive information revealed today by 91mobiles gives us some interesting new details about the Reno 2Z which falls between the high-end Reno 2 and the low-end Reno 2F.

The publication has shared renders of the handset, which we believe is of a dummy device. Nonetheless, these have been handed out to retail stores and are pretty much legit. In that light, the Reno 2Z comes with a pop-up camera but not of the shark-fin type. Instead, it has a regular pop-up module that gives it a full-screen design. Also, there will be an on-screen fingerprint reader and quad-cameras with a gorgeous White-coated chassis.

There's a lot of information regarding the cameras of this new Reno series. For one, the whole line will have quad-cameras. Latest leaks suggest the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F will have very identical setups. That is a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP + 2MP sensor combo.

The Reno 2 will have a somewhat better quad-setup with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary sensor + 8MP 116-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 13MP telephoto lens + 2MP depth sensor. The launch takes place on August 29th.
