The first sale of Xiaomi's much-awaited Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has been delayed, Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain said in a Twitter post today. Xiaomi had announced the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max as a surprise package on March 13th in India and the sale was to be on March 25th. However, due to the increasing threat posed by Corona virus in the country and the following lockdown in many states, the sale has been delayed.
Now, there's no alternative sale date as of now which means we can only expect a sale when things get back to normal and transport services are fully restored. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also set to announce its first-ever flagship in four years - the Mi 10 - on March 31st in the country. It is likely that Xiaomi will postpone the sales of this particular model as well.
On the other hand, both Xiaomi and Vivo are extending helping hands to fight the virus by donating N95 masks
