OPPO just announced its first smartwatch called ‘Oppo Watch’ a few days ago alongside the Find X2 series in China. The company also mentioned the number of regions that its latest flagship phone would launch in in the near future, but didn't quite do the same for the OPPO Watch.
In case you've missed it, the OPPO Watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 platform paired with Apollo 3 co-processor. The watch comes in two version - 41mm and 46mm. It sports a 1.6-inch / 1.91-inch curved square AMOLED display and runs a custom ColorOS Watch operating system. The other primary features of the wearable include eSIM functionality, water-resistance up to 5ATM, built-in GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, heart rate sensor, ECG, 300 mAh / 430 mAh battery, and proprietary VOOC fast charging.
The OPPO Watch starts at 1,499 Yuan in China and therefore expect it to start around INR 20,000 in India.
