Mi Fan Festival: Xiaomi claims to have sold over 100k gadgets

Mi Fan Festivals are Xiaomi's way of commemorating their foundation anniversary, i.e., 6th April each year.

It turns out that Xiaomi's buyers (aka 'fans') chimed in to support their favourite brand also... at least in India they did.

Xiaomi claims to have sold over a cumulative total of 100,000 phones, accessories and gadgets on the Mi Fan Festival day. The festival also saw the Mi 5 (read review here) and the 20,000mAh power bank go on sale in India for the first time.

Besides that, other phones and power banks were put on sale as well. The newly launched Redmi Note 3, ex-flagship Mi 4, the Mi Pad tablet, among other power banks were offered.

A couple of bundle deals including the Mi Band and Mi In-Ear Headphones bundle for Rs 1,598 seemed to be quite a hit among buyers as well.
