Good news for all of you Honor 6X owners out there, especially if you've been drooling all this time for some Nougat flavor. According to official announcement from Huawei, the most awaited Nougat update is rolling out starting today!
Honor 6X is expected to be updated to Android Nougat and EMUI 5.0 (2-in-1) and all relevant devices are expected to receive the OTA upgrade by mid/late May. So if for whatever reason you don't see the update popping on your device, be patient and it will eventually.
If you're impatient however, you can always head over to the official Huawei and download the update file to flash via microSD card. Huawei's changelog confirms that there will be new aesthetic changes in the new EMUI 5.0, with blue-white colors now, instead of teal - dull colors. There's also a much improved (and efficient) user experience, along with new animations, improved Camera app UI and a blue-filter mode that goes under the name "Eye Comfort".
