Touch free interface developer, eyeSight have just signed a deal with China's Huan TV Internet TV service to bring gesture based and motion activated applications and games to China's smart televisions.

The deal will see televisions fitted with eyeSights hand gesture recognition software which will enable users to interact with specially developed applications with natural hand movements and gestures.

eyeSights system uses a camera built in to a device which monitors the distance and movement of a users body, converting the movement in to on screen actions such as channel surfing to controlling characters in action video games.

""The cooperation with Huan TV is extremely exciting as it will allow us to integrate our technology into applications and games which will provide a whole new user experience to users of eyeSight-enabled connected TVs," said Gideon Shmuel, eyeSight's CEO. "By partnering with TV manufactures and collaborating with Huan TV, we will be able to offer much richer content and a new interactive user experience."
