Entry-level ZTE Blade A5 2019 announced

ZTE has silently announced the arrival of a new entry-level smartphone several months after it got the EEC approval in Russia. Dubbed ZTE Blade A5 2019, the entry-level device is priced at RUB 6,490 ($100) in Russia, though we are not certain if it will make it to other markets outside of Russia. Being an entry-level phone, the device isn't that interesting, both in design and the internal makeups.

The device features a plastic fitted a single camera module, and devoid of body any fingerprint scanner. It flaunts a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a chunk of bezel above and below. Under the hood, the ZTE Blade A5 2019 gets a 1.6 GHz Octa-core UNISOC (Spreadtrum) SC9863A chipset with PowerVR IMG8322 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

The ZTE Blade A7 2019 features a basic 13MP f/2.0 camera with LED flash, an 8MP f/2.4 camera on the front, while it ships with Android 9.0 with ZTE’s MiFavor 9.0 UI. The battery is a 2600mAh battery which charges over a microUSB port.

You can already get the Blade A5 2019 to buy from a number of e-commerce portals in Russia in black and blue color variants, and as we mentioned earlier, we are not sure of its availability outside of the Russian market.
