Cubot’s first fingerprint phone costs $129.99 this week only

If a 5-inch phone with biometric security sounds good to you, then this 1 week offer on the Cubot S600 could be worth a gander.

Fingerprint scanners will continue to be added to smartphones through 2016 and we have already seen the cost of phones with the biometric security feature drop so that even entry-level devices offer the feature.

The Cubot S600 is one of those devices and houses its fingerprint scanner in a metal and glass handset, with compact 5-inch display. We’ve not had chance to try the S600 in person but if the build is anything like the X16 and X17 phones then it should be rather good.

Specs include a HD display, Mediatek MT6735A chipset, 2GB RAM, 2700mAh battery and LTE support for bands 1/3/7/20. Pricing for the phone has been reduced from today for 4 days only to just $129.99. Check out the full details here.
