The Asus Zenfone Selfie was a smartphone that did justice to its name. The latest leak shows it's successors, the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro. The Zenfone 4 models were scheduled to be unveiled not before August 17, but thanks to the Asus website, we now have images and specs of both the smartphones.
There are going to be two models of the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie, the base model and the Pro model. The base model will sport a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 720p. It'll be powered by the quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. On the bottom front bezel lies the fingerprint scanner flanked by the capacitive keys. The USP of this smartphone is the presence of dual camera sensors on the front, a combination of a 20MP and an 8MP sensor with dedicated LED flash. On the rear lies a 16MP snapper.
The higher end, Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro will sport a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p. It'll sport the Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Like it's sibling, it too has a dual camera setup on the front, a combination of 24MP and a 5MP sensor with a LED flash. The back sports a 16MP sensor.
