An as of yet unknown Huawei with the “DUB-LX3” codename has just cleared the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification process. Other than the model number, the certification document also revealed that the upcoming device would come fitted with a beefy 3900mAh battery.
While the identity of the Huawei device with the “DUB-LX3” codename remains to be officially unraveled, there are rumors that it could be a member of the Y series of Huawei phone - specifically the Huawei Y7 Prime (2019), which very much tallies with the codename of the recently unveiled Huawei Y9 2019.
The DUB-LX3 is the Huawei Y7 Prime (2019) global variant, the Chinese variants bear the model numbers DUB-AL00, DUB-TL00, and DUB-AL20 which are known as Enjoy 9.
Rumors say the device will come flaunting a 6.0-inch display with the Snapdragon 450 SoC chipset coupled with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage under the hood. And as for the cameras, the device is rumored to feature two rear cameras - a 13 MP + 2MP and an 8 MP front camera unit.
There's no word when this unofficial device will be released, most likely that could happen later in December.
