New Chuwi powerbank will support QC 3.0

Sometimes even the biggest traditionalists are looking for trying new things and it's quite often not a bad idea. Just like Chuwi, who are known mainly for relentless production of tablets, exploring new ways and planning to release a pretty interesting powerbank.

The new Chuwi Hi-Power powerbank will be filled with the nifty technologies and the 10050 mAh capacity is not too shabby either while keeping things compact with 103.5 x 60.91 x 22.8mm dimensions and roughly 195 g of weight. The powerbank uses LG/Panasonic high density cells coupled with Texas Instruments control chip so the hardware inside is indeed pretty solid too and 93 % conversion rate is good.

And the promised nifty technologies ? Well for starters the powerbank supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 with both ports (one microUSB and one normal USB) and can provide 18 watts of output both ways. Also supports the Apple Charge protocol so recharging iPhones and iPads is possible too, but even one protocol more with BC 1.2. And on top of that features the exclusive AiCharge technology for automatic choosing the optimal and most efficient charging current for the non-QC 3.0 devices. Sounds good already ?

The Chuwi's powerbank is currently available as a presale offer here for a quite compelling price of $22.99. Expected shipping date is set at October 25th. Take a look and maybe you will like it as much as i do, especially in the poison green it looks just cool. Other color options are black and white as according to the listing, even though in the pictures you can see also pink, blue or yellow.
